Patisserie Inspired Photo Shoot

Ruffled teamed up with Melissa of The Loveliest Day to design a patisserie inspired photo shoot that’s going to make you want to increase your collection of cake stands stat!

I told you so. Melissa desgined the shoot with Ladurée and other real French patisserie shops in mind. In fact, the ribbon backdrop was actually inspired by the gift packaging station at Ladurée. Melissa says, “Rolls of pastel ribbons cascaded down the wall, ready to be snipped off and used to tie up a gorgeous package of fresh macarons.” Umm…genius.

Melissa displayed the flowers to resemble street side flower shops in Paris.
I’ll take them all please, thank you!
“Heure du thé” translates to tea time.
Tags that read “sucré” were attached to toothpicks and stuck into sugar cubes to stir into tea!
What a great idea for a sip and see…or any shower really! And if the visual inspiration isn’t already enough, Melody of My Sweet and Saucy includes a tutorial on how to ice that gorgeous pink cake AND Jane of Olivia Hue provided free printables for the favor boxes, guest cards, tea bags and flags! Both can be found on the originial post on Ruffled!
